Art designs
HISTORY OF CZECHOSLOVAK CURRENCY.
From the very beginning of its existence, the new Czechoslovak state was lucky to have prominent artistic personalities who were willing to participate in the preparation of the new state's money. Alfons Mucha, Otakar Španihel, Maxmilián Švabinský and Otto Guttfreund created a number of currency designs that were unparalleled in Europe from an artistic point of view. Their work was followed by other generations of artists, including excellent contemporary artists.
